Jill Plaisted
Jill Plaisted has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kentucky where she majored in painting and printmaking and took a minor in art history.
At university Jill was presented with all forms of printmaking but chose monotype and collagraph as her preferred media, allowing for a more painterly approach to her work. Since then she has taken several printmaking workshops out in Santa Fe, NM.

Jill's subject matter is varied. She likes to work from life, especially painting on location. Much of her work is also intuitive where she draws on the imagination for her inspiration.
